New and Returning International Students
Covid19 has presented unique opportunities for many migrants and Kiwis to return to studying in search of better and more resilient career options.
It is well positioned to assist potential new and returning students in mapping their study and career pathways. Whether they choose to upskill or retrain due to employment impacts of Covid19 or naturally progress in their chosen field of study, we enable students and professionals to work through options and make a fully informed decision.
We are able to deliver this for our clients through extensive partnerships with key education institutes around New Zealand. We’ve been doing this for over 15 years so we know the education landscape pretty well! With everyone settled in the post lockdown life, we have taken our expertise online, offering easy access to a large amount of specific information on our social media pages. There are a range of Facebook live sessions with education providers digging deep into the intricacies of course delivery, credits, structure, support, cross credits/RPL (recognition of prior learning), scholarships, campus experience and everything an informed student must know before making this huge financial investment.
We act as a bridge between education providers and their potential students.

Border closure

With the New Zealand border continuing to be shut to non-New Zealanders for an unforeseen period, the flow of overseas international students has ceased. Immigration New Zealand website is the single best source of information for the continually changing border policies. The last update for international students was:
Up to 250 international PhD and postgraduate students who have been nominated by their education provider will be allowed to return to New Zealand to continue their studies. Up to 1,000 priority returning degree and post-graduate students who have been nominated by their education provider will be allowed to return to New Zealand to continue their studies. Partners and dependants of nominated students may be included in requests, in line with current visa requirements.
