Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) is an independent merits review court of laws which are authorized to assess the administrative decisions by the government including:
Refugee Decision: Most of the cases are related to onshore protection refusal.
Migration Decision: A diverse range of cancellations and visa refusals.
Character-related refusal decision, citizenship refusal decisions and certain cancellation decisions.
No department or minister is represented by AAT and an unbiased investigation is conducted in respect to the applications.

Federal Circuit Court of Australia is court of equality and Law and an independent Federal court in Australia. Family law, admiralty law, child support, human rights, privacy, bankruptcy, administrative law, trade practices and industrial laws are some of the aspects which are covered under the jurisdiction of FCCA.
